A subtle pallette and bold tile make this country kitchen shine!
Hobbies to Homes had the great privilege of designing and building out this project! Once we understood the preferences of the client, we got to work choosing an entirely new palette and layout.
Starting with a lighter color palette on the cabinets and raising them to the ceiling, the room immediately gained a larger appearance despite not changing the footprint of the space. The faded blonde wood tones in the new floor and floating shelving balance the lighter cabinet colors. This all set the stage for the star of the show; the stunning stacked subway tile backsplash in sage green that goes countertop to ceiling!
Not only does this kitchen look great, it has a workflow that despite its rectangular shape, flows very well. The counters extend throughout the kitchen and wrap around an outside corner to a countertop cabinet. These give excellent access for larger appliances and cookware. If that wasn't enough countertop space, the kitchen also boasts a 6ft buffet for food prep and serving.
